New Sports Clubhouse and Changing Facilities

Completed in 2010 this new Sports Club replaced the old outdated single storey building. The new facility accommodated the football club, rugby club, tennis club and cricket club at different times of the year. It provided individual changing rooms for each sport (cricket and rugby shared), dedicated physiotherapy room, new staircase and lift serving a new first floor social club. The upper floor included a clubroom on three sides with central bar, kitchen, toilets, committee room and a covered viewing terrace area. It was constructed with a steel frame, brickwork, clerestory glazing, cedar cladding and a tiled roof.
