Gate Lane, Broughton, Northants – Three new dwellings

The site is located on the east side of St Andrew’s Church, Broughton.  The scheme involved designing three individual 5-bedroom houses for 3 individual clients who would collaborate in one self build project.

Pytchley Road, Kettering – Two new dwellings

The proposal was to build two new 5 -bedroomed detached houses incorporating integral double garages. The houses are located just behind Wicksteed Park with primary elevations facing east and west. The internal layout has been designed to provide a contemporary open plan living/dining/kitchen layout to the rear of the property.

West Street, Olney – Single new dwelling

To build a single house on a narrow plot with a central courtyard with three bedrooms and an artist studio.

New parsonages for the Diocese of Peterborough

SWB has designed numerous new parsonages for clergy in different villages around Northamptonshire including, Greens Norton, Moulton, Weston Favell and Far Cotton Northampton.  These new energy efficient houses replaced the old high maintenance rectories that were sold by the Diocese.  The houses are traditional in form with the last on built in 2006

Warkton Lane, Kettering – Single new dwelling

New five bedroom house over three floors on a narrow plot in an established residential area in Kettering.  The design has a large open plan kitchen and informal sitting area, dining, lounge, integral double garage and large voluminous entrance hall extending vertically to five bedrooms and second floor gymnasium.
